Frequently Asked Questions
What is your photo/video style?
I tend to lean toward the more documentary style as this gives off a more genuine feel. There are however moments that I may interview and ask for specific poses or actions to help elevate the moment.
Do you charge travel fees?
I normally work with the client on this to give them a reasonable price for travel. Anything outside of a 30-mile radius to me I do add a small fee.
How many photos do you deliver?
I tend to include a minimum about under each of the packages I offer but it is generally a lot more.
Can I request raw/unedited files?
I don’t give Raw/Unedited files as they are unfinished and therefore not an accurate representation of my work. As a photographer I take many photos throughout an event/day thousands in fact, some are simply not good photos. But I need to do that in order to guarantee I get the best shots I can.
Can I ask for something to be photoshopped or removed?
Generally, I will remove any distractions from a photo I plan to deliver. However I don’t take requests to edit a photo
What resolution are your videos delivered in?
All my videos will be delivered in 4k UHD resolution. If requested I can deliver in a smaller size for use on websites, social media, etc
How many cameras do you use?
I use 2 or 3 cameras to ensure I capture enough coverage and am able to gain a variety of angles.
What cameras do you use?
I use all Sony cameras with my current cameras being the Sony A7SIII, Sony A7IV, and Sony A7III.
What drone do you use?
I use a DJI Mini 2/3 as these are under 250g and fall under CAA A1 Category. I will soon also have my A2CofC Licence to better my ability of where and how I can fly.
What if I don’t like the edit?
All my photos and videos are directly linked to the style I prefer to go for. If you have a special request this can be discussed but there may be an additional cost for re-edits after delivery.
How do you store photos/videos?
I store both photos and videos on 3 separate hard drives for redundancy and in case of a failure. In the event of a drive failure, I will instantly order a new one and back it up via one of the other drives kept in a separate location.
